ESI’s Silicone Tape is a multi-purpose tape for a wide range of uses! It’s a special gel tape about 2mm thick with an adhesive, which you can wrap around parts to protect them from being beaten, battered, or broken, such as cable rubbing points, or your chainstay to mute chain noise and protect it from scratches and chipped paint. The tape can also be used for extra cushioning underneath handlebar tape. This isn’t recommended for use as a bar tape though unless you like your hands stuck to your handlebars!
