The Shimano XT Trail pedals are built for Enduro and Trail riders wanting to get the best out of their bike. With a wider and longer platform they offer improved control, making it easier to navigate obstacles on the trail. The integrated cage helps protect the binding system from impacts on rocks or roots and makes stepping in to Shimanos crisp SPD system even easier. The more durable axle provides increased longevity against rock strikes.

They are designed to work best with Shimano’s ME and AM series shoes, and come with a 1.0mm cleat spacer to fine tune the cleat interface on varying shoes.

Who’s this item for: Designed for Trail and Enduro, but could on be used on DH as well.

Cleat interface: They come with a pair of Shimano’s SM-SH51 Cleats.

Materials: The pedal body is made from anodized aluminium and the axle is made from chromoly steel.

Pros: Shimano’s crisp SPD system, a larger more durable pedal body mean these are perfect for Enduro riding.

Cons: They are on the slightly heavier side so might not be a great choice if you are counting grams.
